I was actually wondering the same thing, I picked up all the parts for the TT aristo ecu mod but now am swaying more towards a V2... in my thought process im guessing that the 6100 would be looking for a MAP & IAT which the 6101 wont because because they are not on the GE motor. I'm sure you can make it work by installing the sensors and jumping the pins like in the TT ecu mod.

Dont quote me on this though because I'm trying to figure out exactly what you are right now a local guy has one for sale of his TT supra for a decent price and im contemplating picking it up

VAgs430 don't worry you wont be quoted because that is mostly wrong.

ALL aems 1100, 1101, 6100, 6101 use a MAP sensor and IAT.
IT does not matter what the motor came with originally, you must wire these up (similar to the tt ecu mod) if your car already doesn't have these wired up (only JDM or GTE engine harness would have these wired up already).

You can use the 6100 or 6101 box, just load the appropriate file for your motor when you start. they are more or less the same thing cause its a standalone it is meant to run a whole range of things, so its basically the same but preloaded with different software, but it takes like 45 seconds to upload the other file to one, so it doesn't matter really.

Thanks Ali (From 2014)!,
You just saved me a considerable stack of bucks!
After buying a faulty used AEM, I just grabbed a new one for only $200 more than the used one was using the 6101 knowledge.
