92 sc300 gas cuts off at 3500rpm???
Hello so I recently bout my 92sc300 5speed with 147k miles on it. It is bone stock no cold air intake nothing no mods. So the problem is that when I accelerate I it seems like the gas cuts off.. so I take off in first everything is ok hits red line I shift to 2and it hits 3500rms and thats when it starts it kinda cuts off just a little fractions of a sec and then it goes past that and then around 5000rpms does the same thing and again it gets past that and I hit red line and shift to 3 and again reapeats the same gas cuts off again. But as I continue going faster it takes longer for it to get past the 3500rpms so instead of being fractions of a second now it takes longer more like a second and longer. I have also noticed it does not do it as dramatically when the car is cold . An no check engine lite is on. An also this will not happen if I slowly press the gas like merging on the free way and you gradually gain speed it won't cut out so it only happens when the throttle is all the way open.
An also when the car idles If you pay close attention it kinda cuts out a little but its very slight so slight that it is not noticeable in the rpms so rpms do not change at all when car does this when its idleing.
When I reve the engine everything sounds normal an perfect so gas does not cut out or nothing like that.
So if anybody has any ideas what's so ever what could be causing this please let me know I really want to come to the bottom of this
