Building a fuel system for 800-900hp

what about using the factory fuel lines up til the fuel filter.
remove the fuel filter and the rest of the factory lines and install a 044 and new fuel filter an run a -8 fuel line up to the rail
would a setup like that work?
how much hp could something like that handle on e85?

I'm planning to do that since I won't be using my stock rail for my build. I don't think the 044's work with E85 however. I'll be putting a walbro 416 in mine and then doubling up and running all new lines when I make the switch to E85 and go high boost. Running E85 through the stock rubber and oem hardline bits seems to be a point of contention. I won't do it to err on side of caution but some say it's fine, others say its disastrous.

why wouldn't you use stock rail for your build?
it has the same ID as any aftermarket rail.
and at the rate that e85 can corrode it a few microns a year, why do anything else?
and 044 work with e85, the casing is not meant to be submersed (in tank) in it
it seems to do fine when it is inline

My intake is setup for 14mm injectors plus I have a 97 which uses the funky vacuum setup. Nothing to do with E85, just the specifics of my particular build. I already have a titan rail so just going to run some domestic 42lb injectors that are cheap until its time to go e85, standalone and high boost.
If you're going inline, should be fine, you're right about being in tank, which I assumed was the case.

My setup (IS300, but same essentially) - twin Aeromotive A340's in tank, I built the hanger myself, those come through the top hat of the fuel pump cover as twin -6 which run a foot or so to a Y, and then its -8 to a fuelab filter, then I built my own -8 rail from RMR blank stock, -6 to Aeromotive FPR, then -6 back to the tank... On a single pump, I made over 500 on E85

Instead of opening a new thread I'm hoping to keep this one going and answer my question and a few others here
For later model sc's like mine (1999) how are some of y'all routing and setting up your return line ? Just same access point behind the seat ? Or in the trunk ?
