Won't start
Hi all,
I'm looking to get back into the SC game.
I have my eye on a few that are in good shape, but the cheapest one does not run.
Since it's cheap, I was hoping to pick it up and fix it for a project and DD for a while.
It's a 1993 with 145k on the clock. The owner said that he purchased it from the original owner and has a huge binder filled with receipts. Body is in fantastic shape, interior is average.
The owner said that one day he came home, went to bed, and the next day it wouldn't start. It cranks, but won't start.
Since then, he has installed a brand new distributor, cap, rotor, fuel pump, fuel filter, and a few other things.
He said that he called the Lexus dealer and they told him it's probably some EFI relay and quoted him $100 +/- for the part, excluding labor. (Not sure if that's the case.)
Any thoughts on what it might be?
Basically right now it cranks but won't fire up.

could be lots of things man, is there a check engine light on. hard to tell without testing stuff, if its the efi relay then there wouldn't be any power to injectors or ignition I think, also there is a fuse for the efi inside the car on the kick panel. sounds risky but could be an easy fix, or there could be more wrong when its running.
