Honestly? Best bang for your buck will be a standard stock 1JZ automatic swap. That's a couple thousand but that's probably the only thing that will give you some peace of mind if you're worried about boosted Hondas.

Barring that there isn't much that will overcome the horsepower deficit for less money.

Address those brakes too if you add boost. SC3 stock brakes are horrendously less capable than they should be with more power added.

The absolute cheapest way is a centrifugal supercharger.

http://www.lextreme.com/supercharger-bracket.html

Get that bracket. Get a vortech or procharger. Slap it on. $1500-2000 in parts. Huge HP potential. Or get nitrous, the 1uz block can take a lot. Or do both, I'm probably going to be getting a centrifugal supercharger this summer, with the nitrous should be a very strong setup.

Uh, boosted hondas usually are fast. They're light And the fact that your sc is stock means that, compared to you, NA hondas are fast.

For SC300 it's either build an N/A-T or swap 1JZ. Have fun!

I haven't had any issues with na Hondas...the boosted ones do make me miss my mustang, but win lose, or draw people still like the sc more. Nothing like losing the race and seeing his female passenger giving the google eye to me
