SC4 plugs and gasket questions
Im working on my 94 SC4. When i bought it a month ago it was perfect smooth running. Now it has a terrible miss. PO owner claimed new plugs n wires, I don't think so. I took it to the shop and they said it needed a full tune up and if the valve cover gaskets were leaking in the plugs it would be 1100 total for tune up and valve cover gaskets. I told them to go to hell. Then trying to search my answers here somebody said that the valve covers are not connected to the spark plugs, is this true? Is there just a O-ring or something I need to change? If it is the VC gaskets, how do I know? and which brand should I get????

Yes the valve cover are connected to the spark plugs. If you get the better valve cover gasket set it will bring the new o ring/sparkplug valley gasket. Replace both while youre at. The drivers side isnt too hard to do if you are somewhat mechanically inclined.
Passenger side is another story lol. For brand i used the autozone felpro and its still good.
