Hard shifts from park to drive
Ever since i swapped the aristo 2jzge into my 93 sc300, Ive been getting very hard shifs from park to drive and park to reverse. This mainly happens when the car is cold. Some times the shifts are so hard, my tires will spin in the gravel. Yes i know i should always let the engine get to proper temp before driving. But some times i dont have time. When the engine is at proper temp it doesnt shift as hard, but its harder then normal. Car idles at 1200rpm when its really cold, and at 900rpm when the motor is at proper temp. Are the hard shifts happening silmpy because the car is idling high? Will idle adjustment fix this problem? Most other automatics idle down when you shift from park to drive, even when engine is cold. Seems like a sensor is bad in my mind. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Here you go man, had to search for half an hour haha. This worked for me, I also had to tighten the tranny cable next to the traction control and throttle cable.
