Default Sc400 Performance choice for the time being

So I'm on the limb on how I should go. And I know its up to my goals and so on. But here we go...

97 Sc400 with 120k on it.

And I know I should just start my build for what I'm wanting ultimately but really wanna add power for the time being. Of course my ending goal is to do a 2jz swap right and not use ebay parts as I dont want to just throw a jdm motor in the car and let problems arise one after another. I have browsed threads long enough on here to know its a hit or miss with the motors and going to eventually rebuild a 2jz ground out and set up for a swap to be in the car next year.

For the next year I wanna do a power adder as I can have the setup done relatively cost effective (in the aspects of doing a 2jz swap/5speed swap) for supercharging the v8. Or I can go nitrous 150 shot with some supporting mods to go with it. So heres where I'm coming to you guys for as which way you would go.

Supercharger...then again, some silly gas is far cheaper and a wet kit is still safe to toy around with. Why not both?
