Default Urgent help

95 sc 400 heard a nice lil pop last nite coming from the rear end so I made 30 min ride home so the noise went away so this morning it does nothing when I put it in gear so I looked under rear of car and the boot looking rod that goes in rear differential is hanging with 1 screw holding it in when I see it should be 5 more screws so any help appreciated

If it happened in the right side(driver side) I don't think it would do damage to anything, but will definitely prevent you to back up. But you can't drive that thing with just 1 bolt holding the axel. Just buy the bolts and bolt them back.

I wouldnt even trust that thing to drive anywhere. I would order the correct bolts, and tighten down, prolly around 130 foot pounds each and see if it dissapears.

if you don't know what you are doing have a professional look at it.
driving around with differential issues is very dangerous and you can loose control and total your car easily if that one bolt fails.
I wouldn't even move it again I would fix it or trailer it to a shop but thats just me.
