Fuel pump wiring (1JZ > SC400)
I have been reading diagrams, build threads, and pretty much everything related.
I have not seen a specific answer to the fuel pump wiring for a 1JZ into a SC400 aside from the Fuel pump ECU bypass.
I cannot get my fuel pump to prime or turn on at all. Does anyone have any light to shed?
Thanks in advance.

Maybe this will help you...
Crank the car and see if you get fuel pressure. I'm betting you will. These cars for whatever reason don't turn on the pump in the "on" position. You need to actually crank it to get fuel pressure.
I ended up using a separate 12v switched (from the antenna harness) to turn my fuel pump relay on and bypassed the entire fuel 9/12v ECU setup. Now my pump turns on whenever I flip the key.
Many people prefer to have the fuel ECU control the fuel pump for safety because the pump should turn off in response to a collision. However, I'm fairly confident the location of the tank keeps it VERY safe even in the most extreme collisions so I chose to give up the feature. As a positive point, if you bypass the fuel ECU entirely and run the pump off 12v switched, your car will start up easier. I always wondered why these cars take a second longer to start up compared to most motors and after my bypass, the car starts up twice as fast. Apparently pressurizing the fuel rail before cranking makes it start up quicker.

I ran power direct to my pump and found it was bad. Did the same test on my 300 and it worked. So I justly swapped the whole tank. The car was sitting for 9 years so I didn't want whatever killed the pump to kill the next one. Sadly there was half a tank of old gas. Most of it missed the bucket lol.
Thanks a lot for the help guys although I didn't see it till after the fix. Quicksc4 did you call me? I didn't check my phone till after midnight and saw a missed calk. Thanks for your help!
