Default Are these ebay HKS BOV real?

Or are they copies? What is the recommended retail price of these in the US?

I would say that is a faux-off valve. Note item location China

So how much is cheap for a base model hks bov in the states? How can you tell what is real these days when buying internationally if they look alike? Even the usa located ones could have been bought from china on ebay etc.

Isnt hks good quality? I figured the bov was the one item I could relax a little on since it has little to no heat near it and is a valve and that is it. I dont like the hks high pitch sounds though... I want flutter style sound

hks IS top notch quality... u can contact them directly and ask them who u can buy from. they are based out of japan NOT china. the link u posted is fake. the real deal will probably cost u like $250 plus shipping. just a ball park figure.

Sorry I disagree they are not what they used to be.

The Tial BOV is the last one you will ever buy, they use springs to control pressure and the BOV can grow as your needs change as well as having 1 of the largest valves at 50MM on the market in a price range that makes sense.
I run 2 of them do 30psi of boost on a 74mm with a 1.25 rear housing divided and I have 0 compressor surge.
My other car had the same Tial BOV and Gate for over 9yrs and still is operational today as I still see the car regularly.

The sound the OP is looking for is from the compressor surging.

GL with that.

knock offs are looking more and more legit by the day, as far as BOVs go, i've had Blitz r2d2 HKS SSQV turboXS RFL and a Synapsis, my brother has a tial 50mm currently, currently my favorite by far is the synapsis performance wise, however the RFL sounded the best to me

I posted this below video for you to see the difference with no compressor surge on 2 Tial BOVs and a single 44mm Tial WG At 32-33 psi.
this is a car I built for a guy Approx 2 yrs ago bone stock bottom BC 264 cams 1jz single S366 Bullseye T-4 .88 open rear on c-16 through 850cc injectors on a MS2 standalone through a Marlin Crawler equipped R154 with a ACT extreme 6 puck sprung and a DM lightened flywheel.

LISTEN no SURGE.
