Default Brass fittings/pipe seal? What do you guys do?

I'm working on a little project with brass fittings and stainless braided lines, and a thought popped into my head - I was wondering what do you guys do for sealant? Do you guys just leave them bare and tighten them up all the way? Teflon tape? Threadlock? It's going to be used as an oil line, if that makes a difference. Let me know what you guys usually do. Thanks!

Teflon paste. Blue Monster works for me everytime... Tape.... I hate using the tape. Threadlock is just so stuff doesn't come loose, but if your lines are nice and tight I wouldn't worry about threadlock. .

For oil lines if all you have is teflon tape then feel free to use it. I also prefer the paste (as mentioned above) but the only place you really SHOULDN'T use the paste in on fuel lines. It's pretty safe elsewhere.

edit: Fuel lines you should ONLY use paste. Using TAPE is a no-no on fuel lines.
