]Hello guy,
I am wondering how much weight for the 2jz motor will be, because i bought the engine stand for 1000 lb, I dont know would it hold the 2jz motor?

Also, Does anyone know the bolt to mount my motor to the engine stand, where can i get those.

Thanks

1000lb is more than enough.
not 100% on thej bolts, but I believe 17 mm bolts are what bolt the transmission on.
any half decent hardware store caries metric bolts the right size.

Idk about 500, A 4g63 which is a pretty big 4 cyl. Weighs around 200 or so.. Inline 6 I bet around 300-350.

4g63 is an aluminum block if I remember right? 2jz block is cast iron... whole lotta weight difference in materials. I would have to agree with 500 lbs being about right.. either way 1000 lbs is going to work fine

The 4g63 without any accessories weighs around 300. With transfer case and accessories it tops out just under 600 pounds. Bare block alone is around the 75 pound mark.
Heavy lil bastard

VQ's are a featherweight 350 pounds but they are as aluminum as it gets and even have titanium bits from the factory. I know in the modular Ford world an aluminum vs iron block is almost exactly 75 pounds of difference, I like the 500 pound number for a 2JZ. However, I wouldn't be shocked if it was higher.
