Best place to buy Center driveshaft bearing ?
This should be a sticky as everyone seems to have once had this issue. I have found tons of posts on the problem, but no one ever says where they get there bearings from...
Is dealer the only place? got to be some aft mkt right?

EDIT; Bro, I'm telling you, you don't need to replace that center bearing. I had the same exact symptoms as you when I got my SC, loud clunking when shifting to R or D at cold start, sometimes even warm but when the car is at an angle, and it even became louder when I lowered my SC. I replaced every single mount, engine and tranny mount but nothing solved it. I couldn't believe that it would be the center bearing but I know how tricky it is to deal with the driveshaft so I said to myself I'm gonna do that last. And guess what, the only thing that ultimately solved it and completely removed that clunking sound was when I replaced my rear upper control mount bushings to polyurethane! Stupid me, because I've already replaced every single bushings to every single suspension arm months before, but the rear upper control arms was the hardest to do that's why I never got around to doing it until recently! Just recently! I'm talking about a couple of weeks ago! And until now, I don't hear, and don't expect to hear that loud clunking sound ever again!
Turns out, that the rear upper control arm, which is the arm that pretty much carries most of the weight of the car the way it's designed, when the bushings go bad, which is a real crappy bushings design btw, make the control arm rub against the rear crossmember when it feels stress or sudden change of weight, and I'd even hear it rubbing when I get off the car. This is the thread that convinced me that it was it causing the sound;https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...pful-hint.html

King I thank ye for your help. BUT my car makes the loud whurrring sound on decel and accel at highway speeds. The control arm bushings would not be the cause of that. I understand where your coming from.

I was about to say that. Bearings make whurr sound. But I had the same thing also when I first got my SC. I pretty much had every problem that can go wrong on my SC when I got it. Although, I got the whurr sound fixed a long time ago, by getting a proper alignment and a set of new tires, something you might wanna consider first before going under the knife with your driveshaft, cause I'm telling you anything part of the transmission is very sensitive if not done right. Good luck with that.

Thanks, for the prompt reply.
my SC4 is lowered on spring/shock combo. not coilovers. 150k..
That is weird that it would be the arm bushing. I would assume it would be driveshaft related. I remember having an old 240z doing that, and it was a driveshaft U joint.
thanks for your input.
