Question Magnaflow Cats and new exhaust?

Hi guys so Ive been told my Cats are toast on my 93 so I ordered 2 new magnaflow cats CA legal for the car. I was wondering how to go about putting a new exhaust on the car (first timer) Both the new maganaflows are universal so it has to be a welded job. I was thinking about removing the piping from the exhaust manifold back and replaceing the whole pipe line with 2 3/4 inch piping and installing the 2 new cats somewhere in the line. I also wanted to keep my stock mufflers on to keep stock appeal. So i think all I will need is some new piping and someone who can weld? Any info would be great thanks guys!

Put them where the original cats would be. it might take some fabrication work but it will do the job quite well. so that would be one right after the exhaust manifold and one right before the y pipe i think. hope that helps!

You can purchase collar clamps instead of having it welded if the cost works out. I have used exhaust shops to weld in San Diego and Oakland. Where in CA are you located?
