Default Prepaid maintenance good value?

Bought CPO RX450h w 13900 miles, went for 5 years/50000 miles prepaid maintenance plan for $3000. Worth the money ?

Im going to say : If they include a new timing belt change and the likes in it.. yes.
if not, No. but is that not what warrenty is for ?

Wait, does that include the cost of parts and labor? And why did you post a question about an RX in the SC section...? (just curious)

If that doesnt cover both parts and labor, then I think you wasted money..and like soarer93 stated, isnt that what a warranty is for? Or is that an extended warranty?

def needs to be moved to the RX section

turbodreamz his plan is for maintenance not defective parts.

OP what is the fine print of what your plan covers? and what is the scheduled maintenance for the 50k miles u bought the plan for? these are things to consider BEFORE buying a 3k$ plan

I have owned my SC300 for over 5 years and I have not even spent half that amount in maintenance.

Thanks everyone. I plan to cancel the pre paid maintenance contract tomorrow. New to Forum, also own 2000 RX.
