V160 owners what clutch are you running?
I will be doing my V160 swap next week and i wanted to start a thread that will help the future 6speed owners.
I will be on single disc till next year and i am leaning towards the "Arizona Clutch"from Ryan Woon.
Here are what am trying to find out ?
Tia.
What engine?
Single Turbo ?
How much Tq?
Do You drive it daily?
How is the pedal feel?
Any chattering?
What Flywheel?
Do you track your car?
How does it feel in Stop and Go?
What Disc ?
What pressure plate?
How Twin disc?
How long does the disc lasted you?

Im about to swap the V160 setup out of my Brothers 98 MKIV into my SC. I drove it while it was in there.
HPF Bronze on a Built GTE, 6765, Standalone. It is a pain in the *** to drive, very stiff pedal, pretty much an on/off engagement. But you cant get a stronger single disk clutch.

What are your power levels that you plan on running until you pick up the RPS triple?
A friend of mine is currently on an RPS dual, the clutch puts down every bit of 1119whp/908tq on full tilt like it's nothing (brake boost and everything), he daily drives it as well.
You may consider a dual before spending the extra $500 - 700 for a triple.

If you get a high tq rated single disc pressure plate you may increase the risk of crankwalk. Bypassing the clutch safety switch will help prevent it on startup but any increased pressure on the crank is not a "good" thing.

Yes i just found that out that it's about 500 -$700 difference between twin and triple you are absolutely right.
I don't believe in the clutch bypass switch as long as you do some high RPM shifts you will distroy that block.
How about using the stock PP with feramic disc it should still hold a little power since the disc will bit into to the PP, that way it will even be sooner because i don't have to spend $980.00 on the "Arizona Clutch".
what do you guys think , if i have to keep under 500whp i will till i get the right stuff.
Again thanks for allthe feedback guys i really appreciate it.
