Default R154 & 1jz DriveShaft

arite fellas,

Well To all ya that have a clunking noises upon acceleration during a dead stop or above 70mph.. most likey its going to be your CARRIER Bearing/ HANGER bearing... I'm a Nissan Lover myself, trying to see what toyota got to offer, but anywho, my carrier bearing was driving me nuts and I inspected my two piece drive shaft to find out that the bushing where the bearing goes onto has been shot. After replacing the Carrier Bearing, the car drives fine without the retarded noise...
My next thing is that I know the car is equip with a R154 Transmission, around the housing where the clutch is located, there is theses two side plates to cover the clutch and the W58 dont have this... and I have been leaking transmission fluid alot from the driveshaft.. I switch the gasket seal on the transmission 3 times with 2 months and its still leaking while im in higher rpm... I got a Sc300 upper driveshaft from a friend and i found a MKIII Supra upper driveshaft, so i tried installing the supra shaft but it was TOO SMALL to fit the Transmisson Spline. I used the SC300 shaft from my friends SC300 and it fitted the transmission. I compare My friend's Factory SC300 shaft to the shaft I took out oy my Soarer and it was the same.... I know I got a R154 Transmission cause of the shifter mount and the transmission housing where the clutch is located.. and even the seal i took out of the transmission was the same as the genuine Supra gasket i bought from Toyota... So For Anyone Who Have a R154 Transmission with their 1JZ swap, Do Ya use the MK3 Upper Driveshaft and Sc300 Rear DriveShaft??? Cause mine Dont WORK!!!

ANY HELP Would be appreciated, Thank You ALL........
