Yes it will. It will also make your car incredibly slow.

thank you for the reply! well i need tall gears with my 800rwhp 2jz/v161 build the 4.27 aint goin to cut it ! hehe :P

oh in that situation the 3.27 would be perfect for you.

How do you know it's really a v161 and not a v160?

because the car i took it off was 99 jdm sz-r and the trans/axle code said v161

I forgot one thing. The LS430 differential is in the small size with a 10 bolt LSD. Actually I don't think it has a LSD. @ 800rwhp you should probably get one of the bigger differentials with the 12 bolt LSD.

if you're putting out 800+ rwhp, I'd opt for the Supra Turbo'sd 3.27 LSD. Its also compatible. It might be more money, but its also much better suited to your application

Most of the Supra Turbo 3.27s shipped over here are also in the weaker 10 bolt size. The easiest 12 bolt rear end to find is out of a US spec Supra 6 speed because they are all 12 bolt size and were available on this side of the ocean.

from another thread here about an eBay engine. It's from a Supra Turbo 6 spd but you can see it's the weaker size.
