Default Broke my rear! LOL.

Injured really, not broken.

Ran the 1/8 last night and was having traction and technical issues all night. On my last run I spun the tires through most of 1st gear and my rear end was growling afterwards.

Took it apart today and found nothing obviously wrong with it. Took out the Torsen center and put it in one of my spare diffs and the noise is gone. I was using an SC300 4.27 but now I'm back to the 3.92 which I'm fine with cause the 4.27 never really helped much anyway.

Didn't break my record but I'm sure as ***** that the it won't be long before I do. I hit 91mph and I couldn't hook even with the Mickey Thompson drag radials at 15psi.

I think 11's are in the near future!

Awesome man ( not that you broke something lol). So you think you are near 400whp yet? 11 seconds is nice man, Hopefully you can hook and put a 11 on the board.

Thanks man.

Depends on how you look at it I guess, one could consider it awesome that I'm making enough power to break a diff. As far as how much power, I don't know but see my response to SC300_704's post.

Also, way better than breaking the transmissoin.

Went to Mooresville. Finally got the turbo on huh? We definately need to meet up sometime. I might go to Darlington this coming Wednesday night or might stay closer and go to Mooresville again Thursday if you want to meet up.

91mph you say....dynoed at 444whp you say? Any weight reduction? What sort of dyno? MPH is the best indicator of horespower so that implies that I'm near the same rwhp as you! Sweet!

What was your 60ft and 1/8 times? My best the other night was 8.007 at 90.77mph with a 1.951 60ft. Gone as fast a a 7.70 with a better 60ft.

I couldn't hook AT ALL. I had the Mickey Thompson drag radials down to 15psi and STILL COULDN'T do anything but spin the tires. I spun to 20mph on that 8.0 run. I really think, if I can hook it, I can do 1.6's in the 60ft. I have done a 1.68 in the past.

The 60ft time of the run in the video in my signiture is the 1.681 that I managed to pull off once.

I think the car is way faster now with a different exhaust and standalone (and a few things I've probably forgotten). So, I think that if I had that same 60ft now I'd run a 7.60x maybe 7.5. Hopefully I can prove this soon.

had the turbo on for about a year now and my recent run was only the second time i've ever ran on a track. and trust me i didn't expect it to even make the 400whp mark, especially when it's only street tuned w/ the Map Ecu 2. it was dyno'd on a dynojet which reads higher than most dyno's.

my 60' was a 2.0 and that's w/ full weight, spare tires, etc. and was also running some very cheap street tires on 25psi. here's a vid of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oasgPV-rRM
wish i can meet up w/ you but can't right now b/c it just recently had a bad exhaust leak and the turbo has been blowing oil for the past couple of months now, so i'm waiting to buy a cheap turbo temporarily until i get a gte/6spd swap .

You have any details anywhere on your full setup? I'm interested in what you're running to make the WHP you're making.

Its cool. I'm just still wondering if I'm making near the same as he is.

Trap speed is a good indicator of horespower.

KC, why don't you just take it to get it dyno'd so we all can know exactly how much whp you're making

Ya that would be the best thing to do. Where did you go and how much did you pay?
