Default 1993 sc300 won't charge

Need some help PLEASE. I replaced the clutch in my 1993 sc300 went to test drive it and it wouldn't start. I check the fuses and the ALT fuse was blown and the radio fuse. I replaced both of them and it started but it drains my battery while it is running until the car dies. I pulled a battery cable off and it just dies instantly. So I bought a new alternator put it on and it still drains down the battery when it's running. It also blew the radio fuse again.
Any suggestions? Please, my wife is yells at me every day it is broke down.

Thought it was the alternator.. You sure you have it wired correctly? Might have crossed grounding or a short somewhere?

I checked all the connections fuses wires etc. that I could access, nothing appears to be cooked, rusted or wet or loose. Everything was fine till I replaced the clutch. I put the positive on the + and the negative on the -.
Thanks

Since you replaced the clutch, that means you would have to bring the tranny down. Did you by accident pull the wires out on the tranny? Sensors? Reverse sensor switch? Check the wires down there.

There's only the 2 sets of wires correct? Will check them again to make sure. Thanks

Not sure... I have an auto tranny and its been a while since I owned a manual. It is probably just 2. One ground and the other to a switch to trigger the light (positive). Maybe you've swapped them by accident?

is your battery light flashing? try getting 1 jumper cable and connect it to the alternator batt terminal and the other side to battery positive. then then check if your battery light goes away
