Default 1jz no start problems

so i just dropped in a 1jz out of a running mk3 supra...only things i did was change the timing belt, change the injectors to 550s with a resistor along with a engine harness and i'm trying to use a chaser ecu.

The engine cranks but does not start. Doesn't look like im getting spark, fuel pulse or fuel pump....

any ideas?

Wow! did the motor run off the chaser ecu in the mk3? I think you might want to ask BigWaveSC his sc is running off a chaser 1jzvvti and he might be able to help you.

i would check timing again, no spark is usually means the timing is bad, try to pull one of the spark wires out and tap it to ground when cranking to see if it is sparking

no i used an mk3 1jz ecu and harness before but i had to change those 2 things going into the sc....

i used a spark tester and had no spark....i checked the timing and seems to be correct unless you can be 180 off with these engines....but even if the timing was off wouldnt it still try to fire?

also there is not CEL

i have a stock soarer ECU on mine, no mods to it. Check to see if the ECU is getting power first before you go buy another ECU
