97 SC300 cluster into 92 SC400 - Fuel gauge problems
I'm having trouble getting the fuel quantity indicator to work after i swapped the dash from a 97 SC300 into a 92 SC400. Someone told me that it is possible that the sending unit in the tank may be float type on the SC300 and capacitance type in the SC400. Can anyone tell me for sure or give me the colour codes for the sending unit? thank you

Trinidad!! Wah gwan Man! BIG UPS MY Caribbean Breden
I have a SC4 cluster in mine and it works fine for me.
i think the 97 SCs cluster clips are different from the 92 SCs aren't they?

Thanks for the advice, and BiG up to you too Koa31.
The thing is the front half of my car is a 97 SC300 and the rest of the car is a 92 SC400. So the fuel sender and the tank are from the 92, gauge cluster from the 97. Everything else on the panel works like original.
