egr block off plate question... where to put them

Default egr block off plate question... where to put them

hey just got my egr block off plates in the mail think i figured out where to put one of them but anyone got pics of where to put them both?

ummmmmm....seriously?..one goes where the egr valve was and the other goes where the egr tube runs down to.

you have to remove the EGR system to install the EGR block off plates...

well you don't have to... you can just slip one plate inbetween the block and the flange for the pipe and use some high temp rtv for a seal. once you block off the flow it doesnt really matter what the rest of the system does, and it only takes a few minutes to revert back if you leave everything in place.
