Default o2 sensor question odb1 vs. odb2..

What is, or is there a difference between the o2 sensors used between odb1 and odb2 SC300's? Getting ready for some upgrades with another member, and it just popped in my mind that his is a 97, and my SC is a 92..can he use the same o2 sensors, or is there a difference? Ive searched, but came up short on info.

I did a swap in on SC400 92 and both O2 sensor were shot, and i got the replacement sensors from a 2000 SC400 the connector were the same and the engine light went away.
i not sure on the SC300 but i am thinking it should work.

Im just wondering if we can use the same Bosch universal ones I am using now on his 97..for one they are threaded so no messing with the flanged ones, and they are 1/4 of the price of the OEM ones..I guess I may have to just test it out and see how it goes.

For some reason, some Toyota engines don't like Bosch parts. Please don't ask me why. I recommend NGK or Denso universal. FYI, it's OBD (On-Board Diagnostics)
