Default SC400 Cold weather operation.

Here is something I noticed the other day about my car and cold weather. It doesn't really matter because well it gets taken off the road from October to April anyway but I wanted to clarify if it was an issue or not.

During cold weather start and operation the exhaust of my car wreaks of gas. Like when the engine cold starts 30s 40s in fahrenheit it just dumps tons of gas till the motor is actually warm. I noticed that last april when we had a freak cold streak late in the year up here. Car ran fine all summer in the warmth no gas smell in the exhaust. Once it started getting cold again the gas smell was there but only in the exhaust it never came into the cabin and was not around when the car wasn't running. My car is always run on 93 octane and for those of you who have turbo cars or cars running fuel management you know the smell of a car running incredibly rich. That is this smell. On top of that once or twice while what I imagine is the car running rich the CEL light came on them left once the car was warm. I only start the car once a week or so to keep the seals and what not oiled through out the winter

Has anyone expirienced this or have any ideas?

Isnt there a idle/gas threshhold per operating temperature?

as in...

180F = 100%
150 = 130%
100 F = 150%
50F = 180%
0F = 200%

the percentage is the fuel added to the mixture to heat up the engine (numbers are wrong but its to illustrate the point.

Yes. Most cars have this but i would have to say that this has got to be well out of it factory specs cause it smells like a ton of fuel.
