oh boi.......... i will give you a quick run down before you get flamed.. The blocks are basically the same minus some internal stuff the head is different the wire harness is different so is the ecu. oil pump is different transmission is different and thats just a few things you would need to buy to convert from GE to GTE everything can bolt up to ur GE block but imo its not worth doing a conversion just swap in a complete GTE and just get the harness and ecu done or just go NA-T (better choice)

Priceless!

Words of wisdom above. I like how Noob is with a question mark...like your asking if you are or not.

Turbo your GE or do a GTE swap. Putting the GTE head on a GE shortblock is a wiring and fabrication nightmare.

Okay then...You need to read up on GE's and GTE's, before you even twist the oil cap off on that car of yours.

Lets start small....read all of this.

Good options are NA-T or 1jzgte/2jzgte Swap. In the long run you'll save more money for the power. Don't bother with the interchanging parts between ge and gte yet.

put your keys down and run in the other direction! jk. im with vangb2, just go na-t or swap in a complete 1jz/2jz-gte motor. Either of those are less costly and much less confusing im sure.

Just make sure to lower the compression in the motor if you go NA-t. There are plenty of threads on this.
