Default Crank bolt removal suggestions..

Ok, so I have started my na-t build as some of you have seen already, but am doing my timing belt in the process..

Well, I know that these things are torqued down like a *****, but I have tried everything, and got to the point now where I bent a breaker bar, broke a 600ft lb. torque wrench, and have run out of ideas..and yes I tried the starter bump thing too and it did nothing..and yes it has been sprayed with break free, last night, this morning, this afternoon and about 10 minutes ago and it didnt help either.

any suggestions? cant get the bolt out, cant remove pulley to change timing belt= no na-t build

Oh and this is on an SC300 just to clarify

Yes i went thru the same thing i bought this tools its a chain with a metal piece on it,you wrap it around the pulley and let it sit against the frame and it should break it loose.
the fun part is removing the pulley that thing is rusted in there you will need to use a puller.
You should be able to rent those tools at the parts store or Rentals unlimited
I went thru the same crap maybe six times this year.

If you're still having trouble after all that and you feel like giving in you can always buy the Toyota breaker bar for the crank pulley and have it out in minutes. The old starter trick should have worked. Although it is not really recommended I have done 3 SCs using that method. It wont loosen up after the first turn of the ignition. It takes me up to 10 trys to break that bolt. I think it is supposed to be torqued to less than 300 ft-lbs. (can someone confirm?)

Impact should get it for you but I used the schuely toyota crank tool. It has two bolts like the pulley puller, and it has a 1/2" drive hole. Breaker bar in it against the ground and then a 4 foot cheater bar got it off for me.

If you do the chain strap i will work, and a nice breaker bar will do the job.
