Default Relocating knock sensors?

Anyone ever done this? I have two knock sensor wires spliced together and connected to one knock sensor which is attached to an aluminum plate attached to the frame for grounding. Apparently it's no good ground enough, ecu throwing CEL codes 52 and 55 KS's signals.

Car is 92 sc400

I've done it on my A70 supra. It worked fine, you have to be careful with what kinda wire you use though. I had to cut up a USB cable for the shielding.
