Lexus return Line thread
When doing my 1jz swap i realized my 99 sc 300 didnt come with a return line, so i had to figure out what would be a good solution. I have heard the 92-96 lexus had return lines, and that some did not, so this should help others doing a return line. You get access to this part in the trunk area, simply remove the 8mm bolts and remove, drill out with a bit slightly bigger then your fittings. Install fittings with two neoprene rubber washers, a metal washer on each side and u are done. I plan on putting a short rubber hose in the tank with a small metal tube to the bottom of the tank to avoid noise from the return fuel, just install back on the top of tank and you are done in the tank.
Take a look at the photos, its pretty self explanatory, got all the parts at the local hardware store for under 10 bucks. Just add a rubber or braided -6 or 3/8 line from the engine bay along the side of the frame rail then drill thru the body and to the rear tank. Good Luck.
