SC400 V8 Biggest Problem

SC400 V8 Biggest Problem
my biggest problem is that my car feels too heavy when im giving it gas, it doesn't feel like it want to move, i have to push the gas pedal to hard in order for it to move forward, can anyone tell me what is wrong with my car? my cuzzin also have an sc400 and his take off with no problem, tap your foot on the gas pedal and it take off so smooth, mines feel to damn heavy like something is holding her back like if she is pulling a trunk. help me please, any one any one.....

It could be that, clogged cats, a million things....we need to know some more info on the car, and what your feeling, etc.
Heck, it could be your perception of "fast"....everyone has a different view on how "fast" a car is.
But my guess would be the trans....Back in like 2004ish?, the SC4 felt like a rocket .....but these days it feels sooo sluggish with the shifts, and sometimes get stuck on the 1-2 shift(177k+ miles, stock engine/trans).
Sheit, my 5.2L jeep grand cherokee tears it apart(but the jeep does have a k&n which gives it like a 100awhp lol), but it should be the other way around
But give us some more info on the car and what your experiencing so that we can actually help you
