How do I check to see if PWR is working? The light in the cluster lights up for PWR but the car doesn't want to go beyond 2500 rpm unless I use all my manhood power to depress the gas pedal.

Anyone?

PWR and NORM mode make no difference in shifting except a light in the cluster. What can I do here?

If your trans wont shift past 2500 then you have more problems than just your pwr/norm modes.

It will shift past 2500 but unless I really get on it, it doesn't want to hold gear. My Camry V6 has this PWR button too and it will shift at 5000rpm or more unless I ease off a little bit.

Maybe you should check your TPS adjustment.

I've never noticed much difference between power and normal unless I'm driving around town with a feather foot. Then it shifts quicker to a high gear. Under normal driving, it seems exactly the same.
