i found it on another forum. heres what is exactly on there from the owner of the car.
Hi guys. I'm sort of new here....have lurked and searched thru your forums for a little while. I don't own an IS300, but have put a 2JZGE into my 1976 Corona Mk2. The search for power led me here.
Anyway, I have recently completed my 2JZGE installation. It is internally standard but I have fitted individual throttle bodies and custom mandrel bend extractors. A Motec M800 runs the whole show.
The next engine has a ported head, cams, upped compression etc.

Hi guys and thank you for your positive comments.
A lot of guys have asked me why I didn't go turbo, and it's a valid point. The car is basically set up for circuit sprints, and the addition of a turbo comes with a capacity multiplier of 1.7 (giving me a capacity of 5.1litres). This would have placed me in open class, against some VERY serious machinery. For the street, however, I would strongly recommend going turbo....much easier to extract power and provides for a far more drivable package.
As for the costing, manifolds and a decent turbo work out to the same sort of price as the throttle body setup.
It's a lot of fun - the dyno hasn't been completed due to a power steering pump failure (so I'm getting an undersize pulley spun up - yes, I'm aware of the potential probs!), so hopefully it will be back next week for completion.
In it's current rough state of tune, it is producing around 130 rwkW @ 6000 rpm with hopefully another 5-10 to come from higher in the rev range (std Supras produce around 105-110 here). The torque, however, is phenomenal, particularly in the mid range. Please remember that Australian dynos seem to be a little more 'pessimistic' than American dynos. As soon as it is done, I'll happily post up a dyno sheet. Should I do that here, or in the 'sticky dyno bit' at the top of the forum board?
Thanks for your interest.
Cheers Dave.

There is also another guy on the IS forums with an IS300 in Maryland who has a Turbo'd ITB 2JZ done by SRT. Click the links for videos .

I wish I had a ITB'd 2JZ!
