I spoke with a mechanic that specializes in electronics today and he said that he thinks that there might be a problem with the alarm ecu. He said that I should go to a dealership and get a new key so that they can reprogram the ecu.

1) If I get a new key programmed from the dealership do you think it will it fix the alarm ecu? (If that's even the problem)
2) Has anyone had any experience with an alarm ecu on the sc400? The problems a bad one can cause? Cost to replace?

Thanks

Anyone have any suggestions or any input about getting a new key programmed at the dealership? Will this help?
