Default 2JZGTE into 92 5spd SC300 questions

So the basic idea is I'm planning to buy an auto 2JZGTE (Aristo) and swap the motor into my 5spd SC300 and keep the W58.

My main question is, what clutch do I need to run? Do I run a W58 clutch?

Can I use my NA-2J flywheel on the GTE motor?

And will I have any problems running the 2JZGTE Auto ECU in my 5speed SC?

Also, from what I've read, Aristo is front sump correct? Can I use the oil pan off of my NA-2J and tap it?

Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

clutch setup is tranny specific, yes you can use the flywheel, no the ecu wont give you problems, yes you can use the na oil pan. and if you haven't searched yet there is a great thread about aristo 2j into an sc on here. and do yourself a favor and just buy a supra 2jzgte and save yourself time, money and spare the headaches. goodluck.

Had the same setup and did this last year....

Use your stock 2jzge flywheel, with w58 clutch setup, no mods or extras to buy, but obviously you need a better clutch.

Im running auto ecu, no problems.

Not sure about the sump..

Yeah if I could get that link I'd really appreciate it, and thanks for the info so far. =)

So just to make really sure, if I'm keeping the W58, I just need to buy an upgraded W58 clutch ya?

Yes, and go with the DF from centerforce it is very drivable with a really soft pedal.

Cool...so the auto ecu gives no problems? Like...speedo and rpm work and everything? What wiring do you have to do to make everything work?

No, the Auto ECU will not give you any problems.

The wiring is probably the hardest task to complete when doing the swap. To save yourself time and money, see contact someone like Dr Tweak who makes harness conversions for plug and play use.
