Default Exhaust, 3" or 2.5"

I have a sc300 and am going to put a single exhaust on. I am going to go na-t but not for a year or so. I only want to do exhaust once, so can I go with 3" and get it over with or do i need to stay with 2.5" till the turbo comes. I just don't want to loose anything powerwise or will it not hurt much to worry. Maybe someone has done this!

You will lose low end power with a 3" exhaust on a n/a.

The car will feel less responsive, meaning your gonna have to add more gas to get it going at lower rpms. Go 2.5 tubing and keep the cat, once you go turbo it will only cost you $40 or so to have a muffler shop remove the cat in place with straight piping.

I would just wait until you put the turbo on the car before you the exhaust on. With 3" on the NA youll only lose power. If you go 2.5, you might get marginal gains, but when the turbo goes on it might be too restrictive and you'll have to go looking for another 3". Either way, you lose. Just wait until the turbo comes in then go get the exhaust.
