Default HKS hi power question??

good day all,

I have a short question, I just bought an HKS hi power muffler and was wondering what size pipping would be good for it ???

Its NA motor and the muffler canister is the large 170mm with 3 inch inlet !!

Thanks

The HKS Hi Power exhaust canisters were actually my 1st exhaust system I put on my 92 SC300(na). I used the 3" piping and she sounded amazing.

I agree with these guys. Go with the 3" piping

I have 2.5 standard bend... I would have rather done mandrel but I had no time to wait an extra day or two to get it done. It sounds fine and runs just as good, 3.0 standard vs. 3.0 mandrel isnt too big of a deal.

i agree..standard bends will be fine...i dont even think it would show a major difference on a dyno

Just buy some universal 3" mandrel bends and have them cut them to the needed angle.

go 3 inch and get a flange put on where it meets the oem piping, on the bottom where the shifter is. and if you do 3 inch that way when you go, if you go turbo you wont have to upgrade. do 3 inch sounds exactly like a supra hella good!

i love my 3 1/2" piping in my Nur Spec, i dont even have a turbo yet and it sounds great, its 3 1/2" all the way from downpipe to muffler, then I have a 114mm tip, go to youtube and search "Rikki Webb" if ya want to hear it.
