yesterday I seafoamed the car with 1/3 in the fuel, 1/3 in the oil and 1/3 in the vaccum lines. and then I changed the oil.

Now today I cleaned the thottle body and changed the spark plugs. after that was said and done the car had a high idle followed by smoke. before I started to work on it, it nevered had a high idle and nevered smoked. what would cuz this problem?

after you put the seafoam in did you run your car for awhile in idle and high rpms till the white smoke was clear then change your oil/plugs? sounds like you forgot to run the car after you put the seafoam in lol.

ya i did the seafoam last night and did the whole idle and high rpms thing. i even drove the car around...haha that was fun watching the people get out of the smoke screen. but that doesn't explain the high idle.... maybe i got the idle control whacked out?!?!?

Pull your EFI fuse for a few minutes and retry.

done that twice already... i just did a search on high idle and i found out that somebody cleaned their tb out with cleaner and i have the same symptom with this guy
