Default Look what came in today!!

Just got my 1jz with a r154.
It's getting a rebuilt. Started disassembling the engine. Celebrated with some steaks and coronas!!

no steak pics? j/k congrats on the new purchase and am glad to hear you'll be rebuilding ala replacing water pump, oil pump, all seals, etc.

Little update. Pull the head off today and completely disassembled.
It looks pretty bad. Couple of the exhaust valves looks like its about to go.
Springs don't seem to have too much tension in it.

Any aftermarket valves/springs you guys could recommend?


After cleaning off the surface as much as I could before it goes into the machine shop for hottank and resurface.


Pictures of the block. Looks pretty bad. Probably am going to rebuild the whole bottom end with new rings, bearings, and arp bolts.
