well the only reason why i sparyed it is b/c my belt squeaks alot and the belt conditioner seems to work...plus i just replaced the belt about less then 10,000 miles ago...also tried tightening it but couldn't figure out how to...

I dont think there is a way to tighten it but you could get a new tensioner, Ive been finding little bits of rubber on my i/c piping as well but I think mine is to tight. I replaced mine with a pepboys belt and my tensioner is close to my crank pulley so Ill probably be looking into replacing it with a different belt.

Goodyear Gatorback.

I have the cheap Duralast belt from AutoZone and regret spending the $15 on every day.

My car squeals all the time. Its a combination from a bad bearing and a crappy belt.

belt conditioner is a temp fix.
just get a new belt. My car used to squeak in morning for like 5mins or so, went away when I replaced the belt. I believe i got a bando belt for $25

dont use belt conditioner. that stuff is crap. havent you ever taken an autos class? lol. they tell you that all the time.

get a toyota belt and it will be fine. there is no way to tension the belt more then the tensioner allows. its preset with a big spring inside.

lol..don't know why i never taken auto mechanic class before, most of my friends did though...so a n/a mk4 supra belt should fit fine right (does it matter what year the car is)? b/c the lexus dealer is like an hour away and don't really feel like driving that far..i wonder how much would it cost at the dealer??
