Im not to confident but does any one know how much hp /torque a toyota aristo has? it has a 2jzgtte but i was wondering if it was slightly detuned compared to the supra. Thanks

and its not a 2jzgtte. even though its twin turbo its still a 2jzgte. only Nissan uses that dett deal. like for example i can say that i have a sr20dett and it would make sense . if you say 2jzgtte it doesn't.

 

well i just came across some numbers if they are true or not idk but the aristo "2jzgte" motors push 280hp and unfortunatly i forgot how much torque obviously seems detuned compared to the usa version supra.. what could the gods of toyota do that the numbers have changed? more boost?

 

the jdm supras had different turbos then the usdm supras. in japan they have/had the "gentleman's agreement", that is no car can put down more then 280hp from the factory. if you look at the specs the "all mighty" R34 skyline GT-R puts down 280hp, as well as the 2000cc subaru legacy with a ej20tt engine. in japan all the performance cars are detuned like crazy.

the JDM supras came with ceramic turbos that could not hold up to as much abuse. the USDM supras came with steel wheel turbos. the injectors were bigger too on USDM cars.

the JDM supra puts down 280hp and UDSM supra does about 320 i think. and with a BTU it can be at like 450. very detuned from the factory.

 

well i wanted to hit that 320hp so i guess im going to have to at least get those injectors... hmm... Thank you

 

You think that i can you the same turbos and add more boost to reach 320? with out a catatrophic failure
