Default Diagram or Pics Of Headgasket Change

Does anyone know how or do you have any diagrams or pics showing the change of a Headgasket on the 2JZ motor? Thanks. I heard that is was hard.....Can anyone give some insight and how long this would take? Thanks.

If you're fairly decent with this type of work, the actual job should not take but 4hours but you also have to calculate the down time to get the machine work done to the head before its placed back on the block. I would say an average individual with minimal experience would take about two days to perform the task. As far as a diagram... you're not going to find one as a picture couldn't explain all it will take. When you start tearing it down, you'll see its pretty simple.

Thank you all for the response........I would also like to know, can I take off the head with the engine in the car or do I have to take the engine out of the car?

i dont wanna sound like a **** but if you are asking these simple questions then you should not be tackling this job yourself. maybe you know how to do the job and just havent done it on an SC. if thats the case i apologize. either way good luck. you can pull the head with engine in car. and no, its not hard to change head gasket...but it is very easy to screw it up
