Well the SC300 purchase has been some what secret and i was planning on keeping it mods only but i figure you all have the right to know. some of you all know that i bought a sc300a while ago
the car went to the body shop because the owner before me cheaped out on putting a new window in and rust formed under the window.
so far on the car i have purchased
Stance coilovers GR+ 18k front 10k rear
Sportmax 502 18x8.5 front and 18x9.6 rear
JDM 1jz-gte
Sheepdog PROF blow off valve
Stanza electric fans(going to fit these bad boys on my car and wire them in
AEM UEGO wide band
Driftmotion Pulleys
Toyota supra 94-97 TT motor mounts
front and rear main
Supra TT throttle cable

looks like i still need:
new Radiator (my old one is looking kinda nasty)
Spec Stage 3 clutch
MSD 8910 EIS tach adapter
Intercooler( side mount is not pretty looking)
and exhaust and ill be good to go.
once that is done im doing simple bolt ons to the motor.

Well that was all old
update for today 12/11/07
few days ago i started up my lexus and heard a loud thunking for the motor but it was only for a few seconds. pooped the hood and my serpentine belt was on top of the motor with shards of my fan all over my bay. i thought this was all that happened till today. as i remove the under pan trays the pulley came flying right at me and almost hit me in the head. you can see pics of the carnage here.

heres the newest pics of the car.
i removed the hood, bumper, headlights, radiator, radiator shroud, clutch fan and some other odds and ends.

also forgot to mention, i will also be having a 1jz downpipe made for me, 3 inch stainless steal and it will be jigged up to be sold. ill keep you all updated on that.

so some more progress, finally removed the motor transmission, clutch and some other things, ordered my clutch and it should be here soon. clutch doesn't look too bad and either does the flywheel. as soon as its not cold out ill be cleaning the engine bay down. yes that is nasty oil all over the transmission, heat shield and the back of the head. don't remind me about it.

LOL your 2jzge is my twin. My pulley separated like that and tore up my fan. And my valve cover gasket blew in the back and leaked all over the tranny. There both fixed now but it looks like you took pictures of my engine a few months ago.

UPDATE!
clutch came in today, SPEC stage 3 6 puck sprung. not what i really wanted but will get the job done. i also cleaned they bay up some but not a lot.

Looking good.. you dont need that MSD tach fix thing.. just search youtube anf 1JZ tach and it shows a easy free fix.. Works great

Thanks dan, ive read that post a few times now and just got in from swapping my alternator on the car. its just a slow progress with the holidays. im going to get my flywheel resurfaced Friday and then ill be putting the motor back into the car.

so today i had some fun, i replaced the rear main seal, not to hard. made a stock blow off valve blocking plate, mounted the other one.put on the flywheel, clutch transmission on, motor mounts, and i put the motor in today. i did this all by myself today with no help!






i still need to figure out what this plug does, its not on the 1jz harness.
