Metal Part Above Midpipe?
1) Does anyone know what this metal part is, if it's the heat shield or something else? 2) if it can be safely removed? and if it's just one long metal part or if it's in multiple sections under the car? I can't see up there well. It looks like I could just unbolt it. 3) another option is taking a little out of one tight spot by my turn-down (somehow). The turn-down is resting against the metal, making a rattling sound sometimes. Or I may just try to get a custom turn-down made that is even shorter, even though this turn-down was the shortest one I saw on the Net. Maybe a custom one could be designed really short that would fit. I'm using several modified block-off plates right now with holes near the bottom to let out a little more sound. Thank you for any help. This has been bugging me.
