Default throttle body compatiblity issue?

Anyone know if the odb2 (1997) SC300 throttle body
will work on a odb1 car??
They look the same (almost; the brackets for the semi wheel that the gas pedal cable attaches to is a bit different, but functions the same)
same number of hoses going in/out

Thanks

I am not sure. The obd1 throttle body is for 92-95. I am not sure if the obd2 would work on an obd1 car. Sorry I can't give any more help.

normally I wouldn't figure they are the same, but visually comparing both side by side, it looks the same
same Idle Air Control motor, TPS, wires, hoses, etc....
(only thing that I would guess, is maybe the IAC or TPS repsond to different voltage signals from a odb2 ecu? )

I think I'm gonna try it, I'll update the post when I do
(unless someone posts with a definite answer that they are not)

thanks

I busted the idle adjustment screw, it snapped off
so I'm changing out the TB
I can prolly extract the bust adjustment screw of the TB after I get it off the cra, but there is no way to xtract it while on the car, not enough room to work
