how much rwhp and rwtq do you think a bone stock auto sc300 would make with just a bolt on T61 turbo at 6psi?
i have heard from a lot of people that it is safe enough to run on the stock fuel pump and stock injectors?
i most likely will get at least a wideband to monitor the A/F ratio.
what's a good fuel tuning device? AFC or AFC2?
Map ECU, Map ECU 2?
i want to get an AEM but that's probably later down the line...

Stock fuel should be fine, from what I gather it's good to 350-400 whp.

at 6psi id look at around 325whp. You can use an safc(1-2) to tune but you must get a wideband in order to get a good safe tune. From what i hear, map ecu's are *****es to tune.

wow that's a big HP jump from stock then! i haven't gotten a baseline stock but i think it would be around 175whp or so? since it's 220 crank
probably lower being a 12+ year old car...
i would be ecstatic if it even reaches near 300whp! was this on an auto or 5spd guys?
what did you guys use to tune? on bone stock fuel system?

At 6psi with stock compression, most guys are in the vicinity of 275whp through a 5MT. You need to run a bit more boost to eclipse 300whp.
A MAP ECU would give you enough tuning to make a hell of a lot of power with a hell of a lot of boost. In any boosted set up, a MAP-based speed denisty set up is always better than an MAF set up for an even tune and better power.
If you were looking for an intermediate tuning device to an AEM standalone that would simply alter fuel while the boost was low, an SAFC would be cheap and easy.

An safc is good for around 350whp? I think around 500whp is when most switch to a standalone.

I made 295rwhp and 261tq on 5 psi on a slipping clutch that was kinda holding on an extremely hot day and running extremely rich.
Stock everything on a T04B turbo (probably a 57trim) and I had a vortech FMU for fuel management (would not recommend it since you can't tune it).
Now I'm on 8~9psi on a t61 now and it feels ALOT faster. Gonna do some more stuff for next season and hit the dyno.

How is the lag on T61? Thinking about xspower kit which comes with t61.
Still learning about "the whole turbo world" (whatever you call it).

I am running my car on stock fuel at around 6 psi with MAP-ECU, tuned by me not on a dyno, and I don't think I'm up to 275whp. At least compared to my friend's stock 300zx that supposedly makes 300hp at the crank, my car doesn't feel like it's there yet. I am also using a T61, and I get up to full boost at roughly 3500-3800 RPM. Hope that gives you a better idea
