Angry Engine Issue...no idea what it is, and service center not open on the long weekend

Ok, im pretty rattled right now and i hav eno idea what could be wrong with my 92 sc400. I have had it for 5 months, bought it from the original owner in California. The other day i was driving down the highway at about 60mph when the engine just seemed to lose all power, like it was running on two cylinders.
The only thing i did out of the ordinary that day was have an engine shampoo.
Am i crazy for thinking that that might have affected the spark plugs from firing properly? One of the service guys who drove it suggested this but wont know until tuesday when the can get in the service bay.
I have this sick feeling that i may be purchasing a new engine.
Anybody have something like this happen before?

wrong section...... and I've seen many cases where after people washed their engines with a hose or something they had similar problems because water gets in the plugs.

yep, water in spark plugs, no worries, get new ones to be safe and dry it out and you'll be fine
