Default Repair Manuals - cheap!

I have read a lot about repair manuals and the cost. Most are saying about $200 US, $2000 Canadian!

I live in Canada and have called the Lexus dealer (out of town) and the manuals are $78.73 and $94.46 Canadian $. Since most on the forum are American the price is a lot less in US $. Our $ is worth about 50 -60 cents to your $. Just a suggestion, give the Canadian dealers a call and save money based on the exchange.
Merry Christmas.....

VQT where did you get both manuals that cheap?

I would buy one for every single Lexus model if they are all that price. (GF parents got an LX and a GS, I got the SC, my Aunt has the LS, Father's secritary has the ES... RX? Why not?

Just call around... My 2 volume set was in the $80-90 range... The spread between dealer cost and retail list is huge... Find a Lexus parts department that will deal with you. I've never been charged list price for any parts... I let them test drive my car, though.

I have a friend of my brother who a mechanic for Honda order the manual for me. Some forum menber can even get that price without mechanic friend like me. So you just have to shop around.
Steve Ganz of Carson Toyota sell them for about ~$125 (800)908-6968

Good Luck

FYI to shop for prices, different models have different prices and i mean BIG difference. I know for a fact that 94's is much more expensive than 93's. God knows why. The cheaper i found for my 94 was from Lexussc400.com, $180 for all 3 volumes.

Prices for the 92 is cheaper because, so the dealer says, they are trying to clear out. Dealer was surprised by the low price.
