The engine in my car has only about 15,000 to 20,000 miles on it and im looking for a good oil to put in the car to keep it up to par. Its a V8 so chime in if you got some ideas.

^^^^^ throw in some 10W30 synthetic oil... that's what i use

I would use a good conventioal 10w-30. Castrol gtx, or Mobil 1. Stay away from fram filter, though. Lots of bad reviews.

speaking of fram filters. it would have to be the crappest one i ever used.. oil was hella low when time for oil change.. I changed oil and filter when time was right again and oil was at near prefect level.. dont use the FRAM!!!! thats why auto zone gives them out for free with those do it yourself oil changes sales..

i use mobile 1 with Fram sythetic filter, i never really had the low oil level problem... if you're using the regular fram, then i guess thats the problem? what filter do you guys use?

i gave a 300 but i use Royal Purple with a K&N filter, couldnt be happier. Royal Purple has been proven to be better than mobil one. mobile one< royal Purple< Red Line
