99 sc300 6spd +2jzgte
my question is that i am wanting to do the 2jzgte swap and getrag tranny swap but i cannot find a 5speed at all. been looking all over the place for months. so my last resort is to consider doing the tranny swap from an auto. i know i can do it to a 97 on down for sure but i found a 99 im really interested in. ive searched and searched but cannot find the answer to this. im sure the motor will be fine with proper obdii mapping done but not quite 100% if all the punchouts for the clutch master and slave cylinders were ever stamped in. and if the tunnel is the same as the 95 5spd.? any light to shed to this problem will be greatly appreciated.
i already have all the 2jzgte & 6 speed stuff so im ready to go once i find a shell. also will this swap work for a sc400? i saw an adapter plate for a 6speed but not quite sure what that was for.
thanks again

well im sorry if i wasnt clear but im actually referring to all 5spd 1997 on down. i know last year was 1997 that had a 5speed. but im wanting to do the swap on a 99 since they are more available and have fewer miles on the chasis. but would it still have all the punchout stamped on the firewall or the tunnel of a 95?
thanks
hope im clear this time.
